Recent Campus Antisemitic Activity:

January 16, 2017 – VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY –
Printers in some offices throughout campus printed out antisemitic fliers that were similar to the rash of fliers in March 2016 printed on dozens of campuses after being hacked. The fliers in March 2016 contained a swastika and antisemitic messages. According to police, these fliers “appear[ed] similar.”

January 13, 2017 – UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA CHARLOTTE –
An article in the campus online paper Niner Times demonized Israel, stating that “Israeli retaliation is political, seeking to control, corral, and eliminate an occupied population” and accused Israel of settler-colonialism, remarking that “this ‘conflict’ is a heavily-tilted process of settler-colonialism. Settler-colonialism, according to Patrick Wolfe, necessarily seeks the elimination of the native – in this case, the Palestinian.”

January 3, 2017 – STANFORD UNIVERSITY –
Swastika-like symbols were reported to have been drawn sometime over the winter break in seven locations on campus. The graffiti was part of a spate of cases of antisemitic vandalism in the vicinity of the school. One of the symbols off-campus was accompanied with the words “No Jews allowed,” leading police to believe the swastika-like symbols were indeed meant to mimic the Nazi symbol.
