3/8/16 – A swastika was scratched into the bust of a statue of Chinese artist Au Ho-nien, located in Schwitzer Student Center.
BDS ACTIVITY:BDS VOTE4/2/16 – The student senate passed a BDS resolution on Saturday. The resolution passed by one vote.
CALLS FOR BDS2/22 – 2/23/16 – SJP announced the launch of its divestment campaign and held a “UIndy Divest Week” to promote the student senate vote on Saturday, February 27, 2016.
CALLS FOR BDS1/30/16 – SJP launched an anti-Israel divestment resolution campaign that involved divesting from companies as well as de-shelving Sabra Hummus.

BDS Tracker

April 2, 2016– Passed – The Student Senate passed a divestment resolution on with 49 votes for, 12 against, and 11 abstentions.

February 27, 2016 – Defeated – The Student Senate rejected the BDS measure. The measure required 41 votes to pass. Of the 62 student senators in attendance, 39 voted in favor, 3 against and 20 abstained.
