Addressing the sharply rising levels of antisemitic activity and other acts of hate and intolerance on campuses across the country, including at the University of California, AMCHA Initiative Director Tammi Rossman-Benjamin spoke in front of the UC Board of Regents last week and delivered a letter from 47 Jewish, Christian, civil rights, legal and education groups. The letter calls on the Regents to urge all UC Chancellors to fully implement the Regents’ Principles Against Intolerance as a “relevant, timely and important” remedy for the serious and growing problem of intolerance affecting not only Jewish students, but many other students as well.

AMCHA has drafted a follow-up petition for the Chancellors that supports the request of the 47-groups. Now more than ever each UC campus should implement the Regents’ Principles Against Intolerance, to ensure the safety and well being of all members of the campus community.

Please take action and join in this campaign. The petition is open for anyone to sign.
